   If all goes well, I plan to replace the server that SU runs on this coming weekend. This means there may be some downtime when visiting the website.
What are we doing? (A technical story...)
We’re replacing the hardware and the virtual environment where the 'servers' run. Currently, we’re still using VMware, which will be replaced by Proxmox VE.
Since multiple websites and servers are running (web server, DNS server, streaming server, etc.), transferring the data takes some time. That’s why I’ve already started working on it.
What’s the goal? (A little bit technical... )
The goal is more storage, a faster server (suitable for video processing), and failover capability (via clustering).
