Lately, I’ve noticed that more and more images and videos on social media are being misclassified. What stands out the most is that content featuring people wearing spandex/latex leggings or leotards is increasingly labeled as "erotic," even when this is completely unjustified. Often, there is no nudity or explicit material involved, yet these posts are being blocked or restricted.

The reason seems to lie in the way AI algorithms are set up. In an effort to keep platforms "safe," the boundaries are drawn so strictly that legitimate and innocent content is wrongly flagged as inappropriate. This is not only frustrating for content creators, but it also raises questions about how these systems operate and who determines what is "unacceptable."

It’s important that we discuss this issue. How can we ensure that AI algorithms better distinguish between genuinely problematic content and harmless posts? And how do we prevent creativity and self-expression from being stifled by overly strict guidelines?

What are your experiences with this? Let’s talk about it and see how we can make a difference.
